DLT 8000 provides a compressed storage
capacity of 80 gigabytes (GB) and a
compressed transfer rate of 12 megabytes
per second (MB/sec.) To ensure superior accuracy, the Quantum DLT 8000 recording
head boasts an average life of 50,000
hours.
The Quantum DLTtape system is also
economical and incredibly reliable, with
a shelf life of 30 years and a working life
of one million passes.
