Sony AIT-1 Turbo Drives

Overview

The AIT-1 Turbo drives provide higher performance, higher capacity and higher reliability than DAT72 drives but cost less. The drives are available as internal ATAPI or SCSI or external SCSI versions.

The AIT-1 Turbo drives are available with low cost ATAPI interface for entry servers and are HP Proliant compatible, making integration simple.
Twice the capacity and speed as DDS-4 / DAT40 at a similar cost.
The AIT - 1 Turbo has the highest reliability through AME media and a dustproof bezel design. It also uses a low cost AIT Turbo media.
