Overview
The Sony StorStation AITi260S and AITe260S tape drives are SuperDrives with 100GB native capacity with the same drive size as DDS. In addition, the AITi260S and AITe260S offer high performance, best storage density, highest reliability and low cost per GB making this a clear upgrade for all DAT72, AIT1 and AIT2 users as well as an attractive alternative to LTO1 and SDLT.
AIT-3 is the smallest SuperDrive with 100GB capacity available in the same size as a DDS drive. It has the highest reliability with MTBF 400,000 hours at 100% duty cycle that easily meets the single server and drive needs as well as the stringent needs of enterprise class automation.
AIT-3 is the upgrade option for existing AIT drive users offering 100GB native capacity and full Read and Write compatibility with AIT-1 and AIT-2 drives with WORM tape capabilities allowing companies long term archival capabities. The AITi260S also comes with HP ProLiant server installation kit and compatibility testing for easy integration and a 3-year warranty.
