Overview

The Sony StorStation AITi520S and AITe520S are the 4th generation of the AIT family and are the smallest 200 GB native capacity tape drives available with the same drive form factor as DDS. AITi520S and AITe520S offer very high performance, best storage density, highest reliability and low cost per GB making this a clear upgrade for all AIT-1, 2 and 3 users as well as an attractive alternative to LTO and SDLT

This 4th Generation SuperDrive is the industries leading storage drive in reliability and robustness with 400,000 POH at 100% duty cycle that easily meets the single server and drive needs as well as the stringent needs of enterprise class automation.

The WORM tape capabilities allows companies that require non-alterable media to gain up to a 20x cost advantage over other WORM optical and hard disk based technologies.
