The SLR7 tape drive offers new levels of performance in regards to, capacity, speed, reliability and value. Tandberg Data has developed and integrated several technology elements of the SLR family that combines the proven SLR cartridge technology and the VR2 efficient encoding method providing maximum performance and reliability at minimum costs.
Reliability and Scalability
The SLR7 ensures extremely high reliability and scalability combined with future growth potential for all major operating systems and PC platforms. Scale to 60 or 100GB with the SLR60 and SLR100 tape drives and up to 800GB or unattended storage with the SLR Autoloader.
Configurations
The SLR7 is available in a variety of value solutions meeting every users need. Complete turnkey solutions are available including award winning software ARCserve®2000 for Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Novell NetWare or as a drive kit including cable, media, cleaning cartridge and user guide (without software) as well as a standalone tape drive.
