The Tandberg SLR75 meets the demands of entry level server storage requirements today and for the future as entry level hard drive capacities grow. The SLR75 provides for high end Windows and Linux Workstations, entry level NetWare and Windows small business servers an affordable, highly reliable, high performance and capacity solution offering future scalability and backward compatibility.

Reliability and Scalability

Small to medium size businesses can have “peace of mind” that their tape drive technology investment can grow with their future storage requirements. In addition, SLR has the industries leading reliability with a failure rate of less than 2%, which lowers the total cost of ownership. SLR75 is supported by all major operating systems, third party software applications and PC platforms and offers one of the most scalable tape storage technologies available combined with backward compatibility to previous SLR products.

The Tandberg SLR75 built on the well proven platform with scalability to SLR100 und SLR140. The SLR75 is backward compatible to the previous SLR generations, like the SLR60 or SLR7. An integrated Media Management tool monitors the quality of the tape and additional features like the Auto Sensing transfer rate and additional security withTapeAlert™ make the SLR75 the data protection solution to rely on.

Turnkey Solution

The Tandberg SLR75 ships with Symantec’s Backup Exec QuickStart software and comes with 3 years warranty and support.

Media Compatibility

Tandberg Data’s SLR cartridges are the perfect complement to SLR technology. They provide the necessary features needed for Tandberg SLR tape drives.
